Hi! My name is Carina Wolff, and I’m a Kaleifornia girl who loves cooking and writing about healthy, clean, and delicious foods. I was born and raised in Los Angeles, and went to New York University to study journalism & psychology. I started Kale Me Maybe to help others learn about nutrition through easy-to-make and tasty recipes.
While I don’t follow any specific dietary restrictions -- as I am a firm believer in moderation and balance-- all my recipes use clean, organic ingredients, and contain foods that will help nourish and strengthen your body and mind. Many of my meals are vegan and gluten-free friendly, but are meant for all types of eaters!
My philosophy on healthy eating is that it’s a lifestyle, and not one that is created overnight. My food is meant to inspire you to eat the types of foods that give you the most benefits, but in the hopes that you will also crave them and enjoy them. My passion lies in educating people about eating well, so I started Kale Me Maybe to help share this knowledge and creativity with others.
In addition to blogging, I write health and wellness articles for a number of websites, including Bustle, Reader's Digest, FabFitFun, Simplemost, Dermstore, and more. You can view many of these articles by visiting my Health Articles page.
When I’m not cooking or writing, I love doing yoga, traveling, or exploring the many mountains and beaches of Southern California.
I hope you enjoy my blog, and please feel free to reach out anytime with comments, questions, or even brilliant kale ideas!
